Material
Crafted from high-quality porcelain clay, with inky black glaze.
Craftsmanship process
We employ slip casting for our tumblers and mugs, and pressure casting for our plates and bowls. Each piece is meticulously hand-trimmed by our artisans before being spray glazed or dip glazed. The Poppy & Pepper brand is lasered onto the bottom of each item.
Design
Inspired by the timeless Chinese begonia flower motif, we adopted a semi-square shape for our collection with four distinctive fold-in corners. The distinctive shape of this collection is accentuated by consistent straight lines throughout. We apply hand-traced textures to evoke a stoneware appearance, and finish with monochromatic colours to complete this timeless design.

Care
Dishwasher, oven and microwave safe with care.
Ideally wares should not touch each other in dishwasher to prevent scratches on glaze and the ceramic animal tile.
Sudden temperature change, such as from oven to cold bench, or from freezer to oven, may cause thermal shock and damage your wares. Always place cold dish onto the wire rack in oven and place hot dish on cloth or wooden surface.
