Snow-Dusted Love Ornaments with Gold Love Quote

Material

Porcelain slip, underglaze, and overglaze sourced from Australia, New Zealand, and China. Finished with a clear glossy glaze. Love quotes fired in gold lacquer contains 8% real gold. Ribbons, wire, and accents are carefully sourced from Korea, Japan, and China.

Craftsmanship

Each piece is slip-cast, hand-decorated with cobalt blue underglaze, and coated in a clear glossy glaze. Screen-printed Love quotes are fired again over glaze. A soft 18k gold-gilded wire runs through the ornament, ready for hanging. Finished with white ribbons for a festive touch, and accented with a faux teardrop shaped pearl.

All ceramics and tassels are handmade by Shiàoh in her Melbourne studio.

IMPORTANT

Slight deformation and shrinkage during ceramic firing is natural. Each ornament features a heart-like shape, but not a perfectly symmetrical heart.

Each ornament is truly one of a kind, crafted in very limited numbers. While designs may be similar, handmade spontaneity means no two are ever identical. This is the nature—and beauty—of Shiàoh’s work.
